This privacy policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit carolinepatricia.com, and what rights you have. Last updated: October 2026.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus, on a server in Frankfurt, Germany. When you open the website, the server automatically records technical information that your browser sends: your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system.
This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a safe, working website). Log files are deleted after a short period, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. I have a data processing agreement with Hostinger.
3. Encrypted connection
The website uses SSL/TLS encryption, shown by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser. This protects the data you send.
4. Cookies, analytics and fonts
This website does not use analytics or tracking tools, advertising cookies or social media plugins. Visitors are not given any cookies. WordPress only sets technically necessary cookies when someone logs in to manage the site.
All fonts are loaded from this website itself. No connection is made to Google Fonts or other font services.
5. Contacting me
If you contact me by email or phone, I process the details you send (such as your name, email address and message) to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out a project with you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps before or during a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
My email is provided by Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Your messages are stored there. I delete enquiries once they are no longer needed, unless legal retention periods (for example for tax purposes) require me to keep them.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- get information about the personal data I hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
- have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR)
- have the processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR)
- receive your data in a common format (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
To use any of these rights, simply email by@carolinepatricia.com.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. For me, this is: Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg.
7. Changes
I update this privacy policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.
